I finally think I'm ready to film. Today, I went over my script and overall story with my friend Nidhi, who agreed a small while back to act the main character in my film opening. I showed her my storyboard and script, and I explained the backstory of her character. I asked her a bit of feedback to make sure that my storyboard and script made sense, because if it didn't make sense to her, it more than likely wouldn't make sense to the audience watching the film opening. And while I thought my script was a tad bit rough (since I don't have any experience at all), she said it was good. I made sure she was aware of exactly how I plan to film, which includes costume and makeup, and she thankfully agreed to it.
The next step I plan to take is ordering the costumes. I already planned for her to be wearing a plain, slightly dirty jumpsuit, which I could just order off of Amazon. For her role, I also wanted to utilize makeup to make her look more sick/tired, and she agreed to do the makeup herself. So, I'll probably just send her reference pictures of how I want to makeup to look. We already discussed ideas on how we could achieve the look I'm aiming for. I also need to make sure the location (my garage) is clear enough for us to film, and make sure I have all my props (mainly just the camera) prepared. We agreed to film this Sunday, which I'm happy about. I was afraid I would have to wait until later, maybe even the following weekend, to film incase she wasn't available this weekend. Overall, I hope everything goes well with filming, and that we're able to finish in a relatively short amount of time.
