Camera shots/angles quiz

The instructions of this assignment were to create a story using 15 shots of an inanimate object. There were required shots/angles we had to use for 10 shots, and we were allowed to choose the shots and angles for the remaining 5. We would then put the shots into a PowerPoint and label each one with the shot/angle we used. The PowerPoint was also meant to explain why we used the shots the way we did.

I approached the final product of the project wanting the story to be pretty simple and use the camera shots and angles in a meaningful way. The project was about a water bottle traveling through the school campus in search of its owner. The shots and angles were mainly used to illustrate the how lost and confused the water bottle was as it journeyed through such a large setting.

I think my partner for this project and I did well with composing the shots together in a way that created a cohesive story. We also used long shots of the water bottle constantly throughout the project to further convey how small the subject is compared to its setting. However, I think I could've done better when it came to planning the story out. When we were planning, I accidentally skipped a number and we ended up not having enough shots. Luckily, we caught it soon enough and slightly revised the story.
